Library Research Guides and Online Tutorials are Always Available for Your Independent Learning
Library Research Guides
As the Business Librarian, I create and maintain websites known as Library Research Guides. Research guides provide targeted information on particular subjects. They serve as pathfinders to information needed to complete your assignments. For the College of Business, there are guides for all subjects taught like management, marketing, computer information systems, and so on.
If you are working on an assignment and unsure how to begin, schedule an appointment with me. I can help you identify information and suggest how to apply it.
Researching, Writing and Citing ... OH MY!
Throughout your academic career, you will be asked to write a traditional research essay. Typically, they consist of three main parts an introduction, the literature review, and conclusion. The goal is to define your topic based on the perspective you choose. The tutorials below provide you with guidance on how to identify your perspective, gather information, and bring your ideas together.
Becoming Familiar with Business Databases
Throughout your studies with the College of Business, you will be asked to compile company, industry, and market data. Much of that information is spread out among several databases. The following tutorials overview what each resource offers.
