Where is marketing data available?
Most research guides have a Market Research tab, but there is a Marketing Research Guide that has information on Market Research, Marketing Plans, Branding, Online Resources, and International Marketing.
Is there a resource that gathers data by surveying consumers?
On the Marketing Research Guide, locate the Market Research tab. There you will find a link to Mintel Academic. Mintel Academic surveys consumers to compile reports. The reports come complete with questions asked and charts showing responses.
Is there a database that shows expenditure habits of consumers?
Located on the Market Research tab on the Marketing Research Guide, there is a link to Passport (Euromonitor International). Once you've accessed the databases, you have the option to select Income and Expenditure within the consumers tab. Once you select Income and Expenditure, scroll to the middle of the page and within the Country Report box, select Income and Expenditure again, and the country you are researching.
