Craftober Fest at the Library! A month of DIY Halloween Crafts — Drop in and create something spooky!

Join us every week in October on the 1st Floor for themed crafts using pipe cleaners, pom-poms, cardstock, clothespins, and more. Quick, fun, and perfect for all skill levels!

Week 1: Creepy-Cute Pom-Pom Spiders 🕷️

Supplies: Black pom-poms, black/orange pipe cleaners, googly eyes, black twine
Quick Instructions:

1. Twist pipe cleaners to make 8 spider legs.

2. Glue pom-pom body on top.

3. Add googly eyes.

4. Hang it with twine or clip somewhere fun!

Week 2: Clothespin Bat Buddies 🦇

Supplies: Black clothespins, black cardstock for wings, googly eyes, glue
Quick Instructions:

1. Clip cardstock wings inside clothespin.

2. Glue googly eyes onto the top.

3. Clip onto your bag, notebook, or string on a mini garland.

Week 3: Pipe Cleaner Pumpkins 🎃

Supplies: Halloween colored  pipe cleaners
Quick Instructions:

1. Twist  pipe cleaners into small circles and stack them.

2. Secure with one pipe cleaner in the middle.

3. Add pipe cleaner stem and curl a vine.

4. Perfect for a tiny desk pumpkin or dorm decoration!

Week 4: Spooky Garlands 👻

Supplies: Halloween-colored cardstock, black twine, clothespins
Quick Instructions:

1. Cut out shapes: pumpkins, bats, ghosts, stars.

2. Clip shapes onto twine.

3. Take your garland home or add it to the library’s community display!
