If you are researching a specific topic, you should use a library database instead and start with a keyword search for your topic. However, browsing through a journal is a great way to get a good idea of what types of research people are doing, and how that research is written.

Google Scholar allows you to search for scholarly literature on the web, including articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from one place. You can also access library resources from Google Scholar as well!
