Database Alerts!

Alerts

Due to scheduled maintenance, EBSCO users may notice a slight delay to content updates between Friday March 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM to Sunday March 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

University access to JoVE (JoVE) will end February 19, 2024.

EBSCO eBooks have a known printing issue within the Chrome browser. The vendor is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

Access to the ERIC database is active through EBSCO, but full-text for some documents may not be available. “PDF Release Pending” means that the document cannot be released electronically at this time due to concerns about personally identifiable information in some older, non-peer reviewed documents. No other EBSCO databases are affected.

Please email librarycollections@tamusa.edu to report issues accessing a database not listed in the alerts.

Copyright restrictions

All users must respect the copyrights in works that are accessible through computers connected to the A&M-SA network. This includes music, movies and all other copyrighted material.

A&M-SA may terminate the network access of users who are found to have repeatedly infringed the copyright of others.

Licensed resources

The use of most electronic resources is governed by license agreements for purposes of research, teaching and private study. Authorized users include current A&M-SA faculty, students, and staff and on-site users of A&M-SA University Library. Systematic downloading of articles or other information, sharing of articles or other information with individuals at other institutions, making content available on openly accessible servers/web sites, and using such articles or information for commercial purposes are expressly prohibited.

Misuse could result in termination of the license and loss of the use of this material by the entire A&M-SA community. In addition, users should be aware that publishers may monitor use of electronic resources to ensure that the terms of their license agreements are enforced.
