  • PLA and PLA Pro filaments will be available for 3D print projects.
  • Project cost will be based on the project's weight in grams, the strength of filament used, and whether it is a single color or multi-color print.
  • Projects will be run at a standard 0.4 mm setting and speed unless a special request is submitted.
  • The preferred file type is STL. To upload a project using the Library Innovation Lab Production Request Form, the file(s) will likely need to be zipped because of size.
  • Most projects are expected to have 15-20% infill percentages. Higher infill percentages will cause the project to weigh and cost more.
  • The minimum cost for any project will be $3.00. See the pricing document for more specific information.
  • The Innovation Lab provides finishing tools to smooth and polish printed projects.
