Children's & Young Adult Literature

Explanation

Children's Literature as a Resource Across Different Subject Areas

The study of children's literature is obviously important to students in education majors and fields, but it can also be useful to History and English students to analyze and critique representations of childhood and those of various sociocultural groups over time. Some English courses use children's literature to compare/contrast folktales, legends, and mythologies from different culture.
