"The Bilingual Language Profile (BLP) is an instrument for assessing language dominance through self-reports that is concise, quick, and easy to use. The BLP is intended to produce a continuous dominance score and a general bilingual profile taking into account a variety of linguistic variables."

A wide variety of resources including, but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets, puzzles, flashcards, and quizzes for use with learners of various ability levels. Also includes articles on second language acquisition, learning theory, classroom management and more topics of interest to current and future educators.

Authored by A. Pence & A. Benner (2015) and published by the University of Victoria in Canada. This text takes a global approach and addresses early childhood development and education in two communities of people: one in sub-Saharan Africa and the other, an indigenous group in Northwest Canada.

One of several modules developed by the IRIS Center, which is affiliated with Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University, it "includes information on how to create developmentally appropriate behavior rules for early childhood classrooms so that they link to a given school's behavior expectations. The importance of communication with families about rules and expected behaviors is also stressed."

"The Toolbox currently features grade-specific music education resources addressing fundamentals of rhythm, meter, singing, form, dynamics, articulation, tempo, pitch, and performing." Free to use and adapt (but not necessarily re-publish) activities for grades K-5 are provided.

Written by K. Munger of SUNY, Oswego (2016), this text addresses topics such as interpreting the science about how children learn to read, word recognition skills, working with ELL students and students with learning disabilities, writing instructional approaches, and more.

"This module outlines Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR), a strategy for helping students to improve their reading comprehension skills. In CSR, students work together in small groups to apply comprehension strategies as they read text from a content area, such as social studies or science."

Created by the University of Georgia as part of the Global Text Project. In the words of the authors, "Our hope is that this book will inspire you to explore ways of bringing your reading self to teaching reading and language arts. And, we want to further encourage those who already share their reading life with students."

Originally authored by two Portland State University professors in 2015, this 6-chapter e-textbook includes content on planning instruction; accessibility tools, including those addressing communication difficulties; adaptive behavioral analysis; and function-based interventions.

This e-book "...introduces learners to functional assessment (FA), which includes a variety of assessment approaches (indirect, observational, and experimental) for identifying the cause of an individual's challenging behavior for the purpose of designing effective treatments." It could be used with students pursuing studies to become educators, psychologists, social workers, counselors, or mental health professionals.

"This document is a collaborative student work, comprising a directory of resources about mathematics and technology for kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource was created with the support of an ALG Textbook Transformation Grant. Topics include teaching and learning theories, problem solving, assessment, equity, technological tools, and measurements."

This OER was developed by a University of Hawaii faculty member in 2017 and is designed to help elementary school teachers "understand elementary mathematics more deeply, gain facility with creating and using mathematical notation, develop a habit of looking for reasons and creating mathematical explanations, and become more comfortable exploring unfamiliar mathematical situations."

Search for grade-level materials aligned with next generation science standards. The site is also open to users submitting materials for review and inclusion.

In 2015, Washington state educators began a process of redeveloping instructional materials with direct input from indigenous tribes living in the state and region. The result was Since Time Immemorial which is an inquiry-based curriculum licensed under Creative Commons and available for re-use, adaptation, and redistribution.

This curriculum was developed and openly licensed across Washington state in response to a 2015 law requiring the inclusion of instruction around tribal sovereignty. It was developed under the guidance of the Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and approved by 29 federally recognized tribes in Washington state.

Authored by A.W. (Tony) Bates this text is accessible through the BC Campus Open Ed. According to its BC Campus site description, "The book enables teachers and instructors to help students develop the knowledge and skills they will need in a digital age: not so much the IT skills, but the thinking and attitudes to learning that will bring them success."

This 2015 text was authored by S.J. Corbett and made available through a collaboration between the WAC Clearing House in Colorado and Parlor Press in South Carolina. It addresses writing instruction and assistance programs from a writing across the curriculum approach and explores ways to connect what is going on both inside and outside the classroom in terms of instruction and assistance.
