How do I access today's issue of the Wall Street Journal?

You can access the Wall Street Journal right here. After clicking on the link to the paper, scroll down the page and under Browse by Date choose the year, month, and date of the paper you wish to read. The resulting list of articles will appear in the order they are published in the paper. You can search by keyword, read the abstract, and retrieve the citation for the articles. The library provides access to issues dating from 1984 to present.

How do I access this week's issue of the San Antonio Business Journal?

You can access this week's issue of the San Antonio Business Journal at the following link: San Antonio Business Journal (Bizjournals). The library provides access to the most current 5 years of this publication, including the current Book of Lists. You may also search the archives of the journal using a key word search.  

Can I access other business journals, like the Austin Business Journal or the Houston Business Journal?

Yes, you can also access this week's issue of a business journal for over 40 metropolitan areas across the country, including Austin, Houston, and Dallas, at the following link: Bizjournals (Bizjournals). The library provides access to the most current 5 years of these publications, including the current Book of Lists for each city. You may also search the archives of each journal using a key word search.  

Is there a list of frequently sought out business publications?

Check out the Finding Articles tab on the Business Research Guide. There are sections labeled Business Newspapers and Business Magazines each with a list of hyperlinked titles for you.  

Scholarly Articles

Where can I find scholarly articles for my research paper?

Websites known as Library Research Guides provide targeted information on particular subjects. They serve as pathfinders to information needed to complete your assignments. For the College of Business, most guides have a tab labeled Finding Articles. There you will find a list of suggested databases. Within the databases, there are thousands of journals containing the articles you seek.
