This resource is intended to help you navigate A&M-SA's library resources and your research process.

What Does Archives & Special Collections Have?

A&M-SA’s Archives & Special Collections contains collections of personal papers, business and organizational records, academic writings, artwork, photographs, maps, political documents, and books. Donors include Robert Thonhoff (retired educator and south Texas historian), Nelson Wolff (former San Antonio Mayor and current County Judge), and famed cattle auctioneer Humberto “Bert” V. Reyes. The Daughters of the Republic of Texas Collection (formerly housed at the Alamo) is also on loan to the University and available in Archives & Special Collections.

The Archives & Special Collections catalog can be used to perform searches using keywords or proper names.

Finding aids are available for many collections in the catalog; these documents contain a general description and inventory of the items in each collection.
